Moving Out, Moving On
September 29, 2005 by edzguanko
Finally, the debate is over. I have reached a decision and I’m moving out by the end of October. Right now, what I need to do is organize my stuff… a daunting task considering how much junk I’ve accumulated over the years. My biggest problem is where I am going to store my books. I can’t bring them all to my new place because they would take up a lot of space and my new roommate might just kick me out on the first day. Also, I can’t bear to throw away things that have sentimental value, which for me can be a tissue paper, candy wrapper, movie tickets, etc.
Well, what can I say? I am a very sentimental person. Now that I think about it, being sentimental isn’t even good. It’s not healthy. I think keeping these junk only shows how much I cling to the past… it shows how unwilling I am to move on.
I guess I need to prove myself then. I am moving out. And I am definitely moving on.
No more excuses this time.
