If there’s one thing that I understood yesterday when you died, it was that life is cruel. You’ve only been with us for about a year, and yet through your sweet ways you’ve won us over completely. Even Chubi gets jealous around you. Tatay always had a smile on his face whenever he’s telling me about your goofy antics. Your baleful eyes, the way you snuggle up to me, the way you greet me after a long absence… all these things I will miss terribly.
You made our lives richer for being part of our family. And Chippy, I hope you know that home will never be the same without you.
