Things I’ve Learned About Myself
February 8, 2006 by edzguanko
1. Making a list of New Year’s resolutions is a waste of time. I never ever accomplish them.
2. I enjoy doing the laundry.
3. I tend to dramatize the events of my life.
4. I would love it if life was a big musical. (See number 3.)
5. I cry easily.
6. I have low self-esteem.
7. I don’t like my job.
8. I absolutely have no idea what profession I want to pursue.
9. I’m a frustrated writer.
10. And an even more frustrated singer.
11. And perhaps the most frustrated dancer.
12. I want to learn how to play an instrument, but I don’t have the patience for it.
13. I’m generally a mediocre person, and I’m afraid of risks. The only area where I’m not mediocre is love, and I always, always lose or get hurt.
14. I’m emotionally masochistic. (But then, aren’t we all??)
15. I don’t like cubist, abstract, and surreal paintings.
16. I love impressionist paintings, most especially Claude Monet’s.
17. I don’t forget things easily…both good and bad.
18. I’m addicted to caffeine.
19. I hate traveling because I’m in constant fear of being in a vehicular accident.
20. I love my family more than my life.
21. I’m a dog person.
22. I absolutely believe that spitting on the streets should be outlawed.
23. I want to live in Europe.
24. I think most truck drivers are pervs.
25. TV depresses me, but I’m fast becoming a couch potato.
