This Year’s Birthday Wishlist
August 9, 2006 by edzguanko
It’s my birthday and I’m in a hurry (tons of work await me…yes, even on my birthday), so i’m just going to post my spur-of-the-moment wishlist. I never really had time to think about it =) Here’s to twenty-five years of my life!
1. Pass the LET. (This scares the shit outta me. I have only reviewed one freaking topic so far. Now, I’m slowly considering not taking it this year. What a mess!)
2. Not to go back to being a call (center) girl. I might have to when our project ends in September. But I really, really don’t want to.
3. Control my lust for books. Truly, this is getting outta hand.
4. Acquire more QUEEN cds or dvds. They’re an amazing band. They rocked my cradle when I was a baby and they still rock my world up to now. No-One But You, Freddie!
5. Sing in the church choir again.
6. Write songs. (I have some lyrics here but they’re still very raw)
7. Get a better phone.
8. Get a master’s degree in special ed
9. Teach by next school year.
10. Earn enough.
11. Take my family to EK. (Even my Dad would love it)
12. Lose weight.
13. Quit smoking for good.
14. See my niece everyday. (Miss her!)
15. Spend money wisely. (This I need to work on really hard)
16. For my Dad to either find a job or continue his studies.
17. Long and healthy life for my grandparents.
18. To move on when it comes to matters of the heart. To realize that no matter how long I wait, it’s never going to happen.
19. To find someone who can take long walks with me around the academic oval at night. (UP at night is beautiful with its new streetlamps.)
20. Have lasting friendships.
21. Kiss someone. (It’s been so long that I want to remember what it’s like =P)
22. Make my family proud and happy.
23. Go to Baguio again.
24. Visit a place outside Luzon. (At this age, I haven’t been outside Luzon!)
25. Peace in the Middle East.
