This Week’s Ups and Downs
October 13, 2006 by edzguanko
It’s been a pretty busy week for me… which was a good thing, really, because goodness knows I needed to take my mind off things.
Monday found me working steadily in the office. Tuesday’s the same, except in the evening, I had the chance to walk/jog in UP. It didn’t rain! I completed two laps around the academic oval, and did some weights afterwards.
Wednesday, I left the office at around lunchtime to prepare my notes. I was invited as a speaker to the TESDA training for aspiring call center agents. It was a great experience for me, and it made me consider teaching in college as one of my career options. We’ll see.
Thursday, I went back to PWU for the graduation party for the trainees. Then I accompanied my friend to the hospital for her checkup. As usual, while waiting for the results we had a heart-to-heart talk over coffee and cigarettes.
And now, Friday. Alone in the office until 10pm. I was supposed to chat with someone, but he couldn’t go online. I miss him. It seems I’m missing a lot of people lately.
Tomorrow, I’m going home. I need to regain my sanity, and time with my family is exactly what the doctor ordered.
