The Essence of Me

Is there anything more frustrating than being sick on a Friday? I woke up this morning with a slight fever and dizziness, and all my plans for the day went down the drain. I wasn’t able to work but I couldn’t really rest because I kept thinking about the work I should be doing. I’m feeling better now, but the dizziness comes and goes.

I hope I’ll be okay tomorrow, as I need to catch up with work. And I was looking forward to enjoying at least part of the weekend, which is kind of hard to do when you’re sick.
